COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Police officer has pleaded guilty to riding a motorcycle approximately 150 mph along I 70.
Patrol Trooper Jason Highsmith found out Monday that he would have his license suspended for 6 months and have to pay a $150 fine.

He originally pleaded not guilty in July. The judge fined him and suspended Jason Highsmith’s license after he decided to plead guilty to speeding. Traveling at speeds at 150 miles per hour on a highway is outrageous. As a police officer he should know not only was he endangering his own life he is also endangering innocent law abiding citizens.
He was off-duty at the time.
The case had some issues because the off-duty officer was not ticketed along the freeway, however received the speeding ticket several days later.
