Law enforcement offices are using numerous techniques to distribute speeding tickets. The new technology on the block is Speeding Ticket Cameras. These electronic guard dogs have been generating substantial revenue for cities, counties and municipalities all across America.
Did you know that numerous police cars have eyes in the back of their head? New technology has allowed radar detectors to gage your speed as your approach a police car sitting on the side of the road from behind. Drivers should know that it may be to late when you approach an officer from behind while speeding.
The most familiar science an officer uses to catch a speeder is the laser or radar gun. An officer hides his or her police car out of the view of oncoming motorists, perhaps at a blind intersection, top of a highway overpass, on the side of the road like a broke down motorist or behind a large object. The officer shoots the radar gun towards the target car it bounces backs and the difference in wave frequencies tell the traffic ticket officer how fast the car is going.
Laser guns have been known to bypass those pricey radar detectors and are said o be more accurate and pinpoint specific speeding cars at a much higher rate.
Drivers that have been on numerous road trips in automobiles have heard rumors about the next technique drivers use to catch speeders. Aerial detection is completed by a law enforcement aircraft measuring the distance between two lines painted by the highway patrol.
A stealthy method to catch speeders is the single officer standing on the road. You’re driving down a fairly open road and in the distance you see a person walking. As you approach the individual whips out a laser gun measuring your speed and then radios your automobile make and model to a group of officers at the end of the block. You attempt to approach the officers at a slower rate and as if nothing happen but sirens embrace you.
The only way to really beat technology is slow down.
If you have an objection to the ticket you can always challenge your traffic ticket with a local traffic ticket attorney.
